This year we are we are going to try and re-vitalise the boating side of the society starting with a regatta in Verulamium Park on Easter Sunday 12^th April.

All members are invited to attend and bring non-members as well if you wish.

Even if you are not a regular boater or have never sailed a model boat before please try and attend. If you do not have a model boat of your own it’s not a problem as we will have the club boats there for you to use.

Never tried a radio control model boat?

It’s quite easy. Two switches, one which makes the boat go forwards or backwards and controls the speed and the other which makes the boat go left or right. If you want to try it out on dry land come to the club night on Wednesday 11^th March and give it a go. At this meeting there is also a chance for you to bring along a boat that isn’t working and we will give you a hand to get it going.
