The Model Engineering Magazine Forum has been holding occasional zoom meetings for those on the forum to give people something different to do and to discuss Engineering related topics.
One problem has been the short 40 minute format using a simple zoom account and with larger numbers of attendees the lack of breakout rooms for sub groups to discuss different topics.
In addition it would be nice to have a talk or presentation as a central focus for the meeting.
Therefore St Albans MES is hosting the next Model Engineer Zoom meeting on which our own chairman Mike Collins will give a talk on his work on rebuilding a Stirling Single.
“Taking on a part built Stirling Single in 5 inch Gauge”
This is timed at 9am to enable an international audience including Australians and all those in the countries in between, on an easterly route.
The meeting will start with a general chat as people join with the talk starting at about 9:15, then 45 minutes talk followed by question time and then perhaps some breakout rooms for more chat.
St Albans MES is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
